Reviews - What do customers think about An Historical Atlas of Central Asia (Handbook of Oriental Studies/Handbuch Der Orientalistik - Part 8: Uralic & Central Asian Studies, 9)?
Beautiful, comprehensive, and precise. Apr 6, 2009
47 color maps covering 24 centuries. Maps are densely detailed but easy to decipher. The massive block of text facing each map is a perfect crash course on the political history of any half century. An indispensable reference, actually worth the steep price.
