Overview
?Last Flight Out was truly a thrill to watch ... I believe the clear, concise and compelling message in Last Flight Out will touch many lives for Christ.? --Allie Martin of American Family Radio
World Wide Pictures presents an intense story of international rescue and unresolved romance. Richard Tyson ("Black Hawk Down") stars as Dan Hogan, a washed-up pilot stuck repossessing private jets. That is, until Dan's former boss hires him to rescue his daughter (and Dan's ex-girlfriend) from the drug runner terrorizing her remote village.

Publishers Description
Airplane repo-man and washed-up pilot Dan Hogan must head deep into the jungles of Latin America on a sketchy mission to rescue the woman and medical missionary he once loved while trying to get his airplane back from a gang of drug runners. This action-packed film shows the virtues of hard work, forgiveness and sacrificial love.

Community Description
Medical missionary Ann Williams (Bobbie Phillips) doesn't have much time; a gang of drug runners is closing in on the remote Colombian village of Alto Risco and threatening to take over. After seeing terrifying news reports, Ann's father enlists washed-up pilot Dan Hogan (Richard Tyson), who happens to be Ann's ex-boyfriend, to fly in and get her out. Dan picks up a fast-talking guide along the way and ventures deep into the jungle.

Reviews - What do customers think about Last Flight Out?

good message wrapped in a weak presentation  Dec 19, 2005
I was looking forward to seeing a movie with a good plot that showed a little of Columbia & didn't have any objectionable content. The movie was nice but rather "preachy," and although the plot was somewhat interesting, the main characters were not very realistic -- their backgrounds were told more than shown & some parts seemed a little over-dramatized. While older children might be drawn in by the story & the acting, most adults probably will not.

Inspiring tale of religious adventure and true love  Sep 8, 2005
Last Flight Out is a sweet movie, produced by Billy Graham's Worldwide Pictures. A young female medical missionary assists a remote South American village, as it struggles to observe Christian faith, while being coerced by Narco-terrorists to work a cocoa farm (read cocaine). The rest of the missionaries have pulled out, but our young doctor refuses to leave. Her wealthy, well-connected father hires her ex-boy friend, a street-wise pilot, to extract her. As the story plays out, the passion and commitment of love plays out powerfully. Spiritual themes are also explored in some depth.

Some minor complaints are that the action scenes are clearly low-budget. At one point, the villagers were fleeing from the narco-terrorist gang, and I actually thought that the two groups would run into each other. The clumsiness of these scenes is somewhat mitigated by the strong acting, that comes across as natural and seasoned.

Bottom-line: Last Flight Out should prove particularly popular with Christian audiences. However, the movie will please anyone interested in a romantic, family-friendly adventure movie, and who does not mind some spirituality being infused into the dialogue.
