Catholic bioethics Dec 6, 2008
Catholic Bioethics and Gift of Human Life This book is a very thorough and up-to-date review of all the important issues in human bioethics. The way in which very recent discussions on important questions in the professional litterature are reviewed and confronted with the teachings of the Catholic Church is outstanding. Namely the problems concerning the criteria of death in relation to organ donation, questions on reproductive medicine and abortion, care for the dying and experimentation on humans are confronted in a balanced way. An important book even for those who do not share the moral teaching of the Catholic Church.
