Reviews - What do customers think about Deadly Cure (Bioethics Series #2)?
Outstanding medical thriller Jun 2, 2006
In-depth characters, engrossing plot and glued-to-your chair suspense all combine to make Deadly Cure a book worth reading and passing on. Deadly Cure provides fascinating insight into the benefits and pitfalls of medical research. Authors Glahn and Cutrer have written an emotionally charged book that draws the reader into medical ethics issues often not addressed in works of fiction. Their skillful writing helps readers understand the world of bio-genetics research. Definitely a must-read.
Much too preachy Sep 29, 2002
Although I'm not a religious person, I've never sued anyone for displaying a Nativity scene at Christmas. Still, I'd rather not be told that there's only one way to look at the world and that my way is wrong. That's the feeling I got from this book. It's from a Christian publisher and I'm sure there's a good market for such fiction (you can leave it where the kids might find it), but I'll take a pass in the future.
I loved the book "Deadly Cure" Jan 7, 2002
I think it was 3-4 times I was brought to tears reading this book. It touches the heart of Pregnancy loss and the deep pain , a subject that is often swept under the rug (it will disappear if we ignore it). This book was wonderfully written , tactfully while still exposing certain truths. I recommend this book as well as the first one, "Lethal Harvest".

Another Winner Nov 4, 2001
Once again, Dr. Cutrer and Mrs. Glahn have produced a winner! An excellent combination of just enough "technese" and compelling characters makes this a "must read". Addressing tough ethical issues that face science and medicine today, they make their point while providing an outstanding and enjoyable story. I can't wait for their next book!!!
