Reviews - What do customers think about Letters to the Seven Churches (WBL) (William Barclay Library)?

Review of Letters to the Seven Churches by William Barclay  Mar 30, 2009
Letters to the Seven Churches (WBL) (William Barclay Library)William Barclay made an invaluable contribution to our understanding of chapters two and three of the Book of Revelation. An easy read but also very well researched and scholarly (without being technical). As a Seminary Graduate, Pastor and Missionary Educator I highly endorse this important addition to commentaries on The Seven Churches of Revelation.

Helpful but not the last word  Jul 11, 2008
Barclay's work on this subject is helpful and full of practical insights. Worth having. Yet, there are two others I would rank above this one. John Stott's "What Christ Thinks of His Church," and Robert L. Thomas' "Revelation 1-7" in the Exegetical Commentary series by Moody Press, 1992.
