Reviews - What do customers think about You're All That! (Not Available-Out Of Print)?
An inspiration May 2, 2009
Pastor Paula's Book, "You're All That!" is truly inspirational. Coupled with life stories, examples, scriptures/references from the Bible, and motivational rhetoric, this book provides the necessary information and push that we need in order to make a positive change and impact in our lives. Even though life sometimes lies to us, we need to move beyond our past and embrace the future and destiny that God has planned for us to fulfill and enjoy. I am surprised by those who have left a negative review for this book, but I believe that Pastor Paula's book (as well as the many other books she's written) are truly a blessing.
She narrates her own account of finding meaning in life Sep 6, 2008
Paula White's YOU'RE ALL THAT: UNDERSTAND GOD'S DESIGN FOR YOUR LIFE tells of the author's own painful experiences and where she found keys to healing and new life. She narrates her own account of finding meaning in life - and a positive path for living it - and provides an inspirational audio especially recommended for Christian collections. Two new 'Rich Dad' audios are excellent for young adults and newcomers to financial savvy.
NO, We are not all that Mar 23, 2008
What is so sad is that though there is nothing wrong with giving ourself a positive message, pride is a sin. God does not think, we as people are all that. Christians are to look to Jesus and if this is not enough, than go ahead and buy this Paula White book and add to her riches. Looks at her, sitting in purple, smiling as the money rolls in and sinful. Such a shame. Jesus pimped in the name of Paula White!!!!
"Who are you?" Jan 10, 2008
Paula White is the pastor of the Without Walls International Church in Tampa. She host an international television program and organizes international humanitarian efforts. MS White's message is one of hope and encouragement. Christ created each of us to be unique, marvelous, and wonderful creatures. Unfortunately, others put labels on us and we tend to allow those labels to identify us. Labels leave us frustrated and angry. Christ has a purpose for our lives; we must seek to know our spiritual side to search for that purpose. We cannot feel fulfilled until we bring into focus who Christ wants us to be. We are what we perceive ourselves to be. If we see ourselves as a loser, we will most likely attract losers. We need good self-esteem; we need to see ourselves as valuable no matter what. We need to see ourselves as Christ sees us. By spending time alone with Christ in prayer, scripture reading, and listening to Him, we will discover the depths of His love and the plan He has for our lives.
You're All That by Paula White is a beautiful message on how we should see ourselves. MS White's words lift spirits and self-esteem and more importantly bring us closer to the Lord. You're All That is read by MS White, the longer you listen the more emotion and spirit you hear in her voice. Too many people do not see their self worth; lack of self worth leads to bad decisions. You're All That helps the listener to understand why they attract the wrong type of people and why they make bad decisions. Bad decisions can become a never-ending cycle if not broken. It is only through the love of God and seeking to be the person He intends you to be that we can grow, learn, and end the cycle. I have trouble saying no to people. That trait gets me in trouble a lot. MS White confirms what I know. I need to do what God calls me to do not what others want me to do. This comes down to my learning to set priorities. I highly recommend You're All That for all people.
