Reviews - What do customers think about Bible Studies For The Preparation Of The Bride?
THE HOLY NUPTIAL Nov 2, 2004
THIS BOOK BY BOB AND ROSE WEINER BRINGS IN THE BEAUTY OF HOLY NUPTIAL. UNDEFILED IS MY LOVE SAYS THE BRIDEGROOM AND THE CHURCH SHOULD KNOW THAT HER BELOVED IS THE CHIEFEST OF TEN THOUSAND.
RUN, don't walk, away from this one! Feb 10, 2001
During my unfortunate years as a member of Weiner's now-defunct Maranatha Ministries, completing the Weiner's bible study books, including this one, was required and expected. Absolute cult-like devotion was the order of the day, and most leaders and thinkers were consumed by Weiner's dictator complex. Biblically, there is much here to digest, and should probably be approached with great caution, if at all. There are better materials available from more qualified biblical scholars which are certainly more deserving of your time, money, and energy. Because of my familiarity with Weiner, his books, and the human devastation resulting from his "ministry" I would not recommend this or any of his books to anyone.
An in-depth Bible study of the inner life with Christ Jul 9, 1999
This Bible study requires diligence; at 234 pages it took me a year to complete it. It rewards the student with an understanding of Christ's purpose for His Bride, the Church, to stand forth in purity and to labor to bring many to Him until the time when the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of God and of His Christ. This study shows how God intended marriage to be a picture of salvation; hence the pains of our enemy the devil to denigrate marriage and the relationship between Christ and believers. This study should be as illustrative for male believers as for female, in teaching them how to relate to Christ in intimate spiritual fellowship as symbolized by the Bride and Groom. Anyone reading the Bible with sincerity rather than a supercilious attitude will readily see that effeminate qualities are not implied for either Christ or male believers in this relationship in Song of Solomon, 2 Corinthians 11:2, Ephesians 5:21-32, Revelations 19:6-9, the teachings of Christ in the Gospels, or any other reference. This excellent study covers these points and many more. And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come!
Isn't the church.... Apr 17, 1999
Isn't the church traditionally considered to be of a masculine derivation? Latin and Hebrew linguistic geneologies would say so. Doesn't this make Christ gay?
A Must Have for those in Relationship with God. Apr 9, 1999
Rose and Bob Weiner have created one of the best "discover for yourself" books which benchmarks the development of a believer's relationship with God. Using the Song of Solomon as a guide they allow the Christian Believer to view their relationship with the Heavenly Lover of all, as His Bride. As one uses this study guide and the Bible to delve the depths of this relationship, they will begin to understand the rituals of attraction, pursuit and courtship that God uses to woo the believer into ever-increasing oneness with Him. This book has not only led me deeper into love with Jesus, but has shown me how much more of Him is available. For anyone wanting to be caught up in the Passion of Jesus, he/she will definitely want to start here.
