Reviews - What do customers think about Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon #12 (v. 12)?
An insult to the original story. Nov 7, 2007
Ok, I read it and I was like so baffled. I read it begining to end. What does this have to do with the adventures of martial arts or the theme of Wuxia? To be honest? Vol 1-8 kept it but VOl 9-12 lost it. I was extremely disappointed by this volume. Ok, I don't understand what Christianity has to do with martial arts story. I didn't like the essay attach at the end. I never read anything so insulting. How can the author lambast the beautiful story? What's worse is this: the gods are evil spirits in disguse? And they offered him power in exchange for his adhoring them? I never heard anything so creepy and disgusting. The guy better check his facts again. Gods in Buddhism and Taoism do not offer powers at all to mortal men. Imagine how chaotic the world would be if the guy actually recieve power. Not really logical. Avoid this book at all cost. I would give this a no-star but I have to give it a one.
