Wonderful father-daughter wedding gift!! Aug 8, 2009
"I loved her first" was a beautiful gift for my husband to give to our daughter on her wedding day. She was surprised by the gift although she had picked this song for her dad and her to dance to. There were many tears as family and friends watched her dad skillfully lead her around the dancefloor. I watched from the sidelines, a very proud mother and wife and thankful for the suggestion of this song from a good friend who's daughter had been married just 2 months earlier. It is a beautiful song with a wonderful tune to dance to. The book comes with a writeup of how this gem of a song evolved and will be a treasured keepsake of her special day.
Great for Father of the Bride!!! Feb 22, 2009
Bought it for a Father of the Bride. It includes a CD with the song. Any father would love this.
happy tears Jan 7, 2008
Every dad needs to get this for his daughter and her groom...needs to listen and shed those good tears of gratitude for the gift of a daughter and the years of happy memories. Got it for bride-father dance but the tempo was a bit fast to work well for my husband. But still a great song and special gift to give.
