Reviews - What do customers think about Legend Of The Candy Cane?
Great Book Jan 19, 2007
This is a wonderful book for a Christian school to use around Christmas time. It tells about Jesus' birth, death, and love by using the familiar candy cane. Big pages, interesting story, and great pictures.
Highly recommend Jan 9, 2007
My daughter and granddaughter loved this gift I gave them for Christmas--along with a candy cane. It is told beautifully and weaves the greatest love story told into a reminder for a child. It's a worthwhile book to read to each generation.
Legend of the Candy Cane, The Jan 9, 2007
I was so excited to get this book and I needed it for a church function and I got it just in time. Its a great christmas book. Thanks
Wonderful book Jan 4, 2007
with a wonderful message. I used this book in children's church during December. The children loved it and followed up by giving Candy Canes to fellow church members and telling the legend of the candy cane.
So Awful! Dec 28, 2006
We were completely blindsided by this book as a gift for our preschool/elementary age kids. It's creepy - you think you are reading an average holiday story about candy canes are all about, and then you turn the page to suddenly encounter a flogged Jesus, bleeding with a Roman guard with a whip above him! Merry Christmas from Mel Gibson is the general theme......Such a misleading title. Like another reviewer, if I could give it a negative star rating I would.
