Reviews - What do customers think about God, Man, & Salvation?
Serious Reading Feb 19, 2009
God, man and salvation is a development of theology by way of a close examination of the Bible. Each section of the Bible is meticulously examined in light of our relationship to God and God's relationship to us. Purkiser is a great theologian, and was key player in shaping the Nazarene denomination. He uses a well documented amount of commentary from well known scholars. God, Man and Salvation is required reading in many seminaries, but that was not my introduction to the book. My father gave me this book and I can't thank him enough. If you want to know why you believe, this book will document everything. I found it profoundly enlightening. However, this is not a book for the beginner. It will make you think, and you won't want to put it down.
