Reviews - What do customers think about Saints of North America?
both edifying and interesting Sep 4, 2007
Not restricted to just canonized or beatified, it also includes those named venerable, and servant of God. Most thumbnails are just 2 or 3 pages and you can skip through to those that may be of special interest by reading the brief description in italics at the beginning. Very well written and engaging. I received this as a result of a donation to "the Journey Home" on EWTN. They picked a real winner to send me. Thank you "Journey Home".
Great resource; well written Jul 18, 2007
This is a fantastic book which includes not just good thumbnail biographies of just about every person ever canonized, beatified, or even considered for sainthood in all of North America, but many portraits as well - in addition to the addresses of postulators, etc. in case you want to write them for more information. It's a great resource for planning pilgrimages, etc. Anybody interested in saints or the history of Catholicism in North America ought to have this.
