Very Practical and Strategic Book For Those That Want to Learn How To Take Jesus Everywhere Jan 11, 2009
While reading Taking Jesus to Work Living Out Your Faith On The Job I was impressed with how easy it was to read because Pastor Vera took the time to make the knowledge that she attained and the wisdom that she received from the Lord and has laid it out so we can apply the strategies that she suggests to live out our faith on the job. As I was reading this book I also realized that the information contained in this book even applies to people that are raising their children at home. As homemakers it is imperative that we understand that we are given the responsibility to be an extension of Jesus to our children so they too would desire and develop a relationship with Jesus as well. Also, I am excited that I now have principles that I can use when I return back to the marketplace. Thank you Pastor Vera for sharing the lessons you learned in the marketplace to be an effective missionary and your willingness to help others do the same. I really like the marketplace self-evaluation questions, market do's and don'ts and the prayer points. This information brings revelation and is a valuable resource that I will use time and time again. I highly recommend this book.

Kudos to Vera R. Jackson for writing this clear and compelling book on living out the Christian faith in the workplace. She presents strategies for new or experienced employees and novice or seasoned managers to stay focused and overcome distractions. She teaches how to discern and understand opportunities to positively influence situations and people on the job. The author shares insights on how to serve those for whom and with whom we work. Most of all, Jackson instills courage in the reader with prayers and questions for self evaluation at the end of each chapter. I highly recommend this book.
