Lovely beautiful book of wonderful angelic encounters... Jun 7, 2005
This is a truly elegant and beautiful book, and the stories are both lovely and inspiriting. I re-read it often, and enjoy every story in it. I bought a copy as a Valentine's Day gift for my mother and she loves it too. Very high quality publication, deep rich colors, even a ribbon bookmark.
I wrote one of the stories May 27, 2001
I have to say this.... The stories are true. The woman who wrote the book took a collection of stories over the internet and with the permission from the authors she created this book. Why 3 stars?? Well, my story was edited so much that I was embarrassed to show my friends. I was sent copies to give to family etc. But still have a bag full. I don't believe my story held the whole meaning that I was trying to convey. I am a little peeved about that. I was told the story would go in as is but it didn't, she broke her word to me. Nevermind I had to track her down to find out that my story WAS in the book and and I wanted the copies as she promised. ....
I'm a contributer to the book. May 27, 2001
Some may say I'm predjudice but I liked what I read in the book. My minister doesn't believe in angels but I still feel I'm lutheran even though I do believe in angels. You see everyone does have different beliefs and in my opinion as long as you believe in God it doesn't matter who else or what else you believe in. I admit my story was reworded slightly to state that I pray to Jesus but I never pray to him. My church brought me up to pray to God. I also pray to his messengers. By that I mean I pray to My deceased relatives and also my angels. There is nothing wrong with what you believe, as long as it gives you peace, guidance, and gives you a path to be a good person. So please don't put down this book for how the contributers feel, give a review about the book itself.Thanks.

I am the author of the story of the old rabbi. I related this experience on the internet one night, just to share it with other people. Lynn Valentine saw it and asked for permission to include it in her book. I was happy to do so. I still feel a spiritual lift when I think of the old man blessing my children that night. Was he an angel...only God knows. I am writing now just to assure those of you who might wonder if Ms. Valentine fabricated these experiences.
Simplistic and contrived May 21, 2001
These stories had a false ring to me, as if the author made them up. The compilation seems as if it were smacked together overnight. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
