Reviews - What do customers think about Huldrych Zwingli Writings, Vol One: The Defense of the Reformed Faith (Pittsburgh Theological Monographs)?
Zwingli's defence of the Reformation in a poor binding Jan 9, 2007
This volume contains Zwingli's defence of his views on the Reformation. While the content is what one would expect of Zwingli: a consistent denial of the Real Presence in the Eucharist, an egalitarian approach to Church government and the view that human law is of no value to those who have the Holy Spirit, the presentation leaves a great deal to be desired. The typeface looks like it comes from a typewriter, and the binding is so flimsy that this site rejected the first copy it received, and only sent the second when it became clear that the whole print run was bound this way. Those who have sympathy with Zwingli's views are likely to enjoy this work more than I did.
