Reviews - What do customers think about Vogue Knitting Quick Knits: Over 50 Fast & Easy Styles (Vogue Knitting)?
Some of the Styles are not Vogue Jul 6, 2006
I was left wanting a little more after getting this book. You would think a Vogue book would have up to date styles. I found a lot of the patterns dated and even kind of ugly. I wouldn't spend my valuable time knitting something that I wouldn't want to wear myself.
Great for Newer Knitters Aug 21, 2003
This book is full of patterns using todays thicker yarns - great for quick projects. I knit a floor-length hooded vest in a weekend! Although some of the patterns are a bit outdated, you can easily adapt them for todays styles (i.e. shorten up the length of the pullovers and add bell sleeves). There is a wide variety of patterns, from sweaters to shawls to evening wear. Some experience required - as there is shaping involved.
