Item description for In the Midst Of It All by Tray Daniels...
Overview In the Midst of It All is an autobiography that details the life of a young African-American woman born in a small city in southeastern Wisconsin. This story looks at a variety of social problems but basically focuses on three: sexual abuse, drug addiction, and domestic violence. Born and reared in an environment that was small yet filled with crime, gang activity, and drugs, the author made many inappropriate decisions which forced her to deal with self-pity, doubt, hate, and despair. Only after relocating and accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Savior was she able to view life in a new light. Through Jesus she realized her predestined purpose and the assignment for her life. The intended goal of this book is to reach those who are emotionally and spiritually bound and believe they cannot be freed-to offer hope to those who are feeling hopeless, faith to those who have little or none, and everlasting love to those who feel abandoned. In the Midst of It All will be beneficial to everyone but really offers hope to those who are emotionally wounded, battered, bound by various addictions, and especially those searching for peace and unconditional love.
