Item description for I Want My Pacifier (Little Princess Books) by Tony Ross...
In a variety of settings, a mysterious hand enters the frame of the picture and removes (the pacifier) it. The girl keeps unearthing the missing object from such well-concealed spots as the chimney, the dog's bed, and the trash can. It's not until a young cousin enters the mix that peer pressure accomplishes what adult machinations could not. Strong child appeal should make these books popular. - School Library Journal

Reviews - What do customers think about I Want My Pacifier (Little Princess Books)?
Funny and Sweet Jun 16, 2007
The book tells the story of the princess whose pacifier is repeatedly taken away and she is searching for it. Only at the end, when she is mocked she gives it up. The drawings are delightful and the story of more and more convoluted places for hiding the pacifier is very funny. The perfect age for the reader might be a bit beyond pacifier age, but even adults will enjoy this book.
not what i expected Oct 2, 2005
I thought the book would be more direct about giving up the pacifier but the princess keeps getting her paci back. The at the end she gives it up but not in a way that would work for my daughter. My daughter (2.5) actually got upset when she saw the cover of the book!
