The Art Lesson Oct 31, 2000
This book was read to me by one of my college professors. The idea she was trying to communicate to the future teachers in her "Methods of Teaching Elementary Reading" class was that we should be careful to always encourage and never stifle a childs' creative spirit. This book has captured that philosophy beautifully, both in text and in illustration. I am purchasing this book for my boyfriend who is graduating this year with an art degree and has had the great fortune of never being stifled, thus becoming very successful and open with his talent in graphic design.
