Reviews - What do customers think about Hush in the Rush: 52 Quiet Times for Busy People?
Wonderful book for all walks of life... Sep 12, 2003
I have been blessed to have the author of this book, Tom Sikes, as my pastor for a good portion of my life... He is the most animated, genuinely joyful, and spiritual person that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and I can assure any reader that you will experience a taste of that joy in the words of this book... Moreover, Tom is "real" -- and by that I mean that his words ring true to life and he speaks from experience and is inspired by his genuine joy from his relationship with God and doesn't dismiss the fact that this life can be a pressure-cooker. He walks the journey of life -- both literally and spiritually -- WITH you and not ABOVE you...
I would recommend this book -- and Tom himself -- to anyone who has the opportunity to learn from it and from him... This book is a great little bedside devotional that provides short lessons to help you strengthen your relationship with God while offering "real-life" lessons and insight...
