Overview
The Game has become more than a reality for the Player Roman Gabriel Lyon, the prophesied French Roman who shall lead the armies of Zion against Avalon into the decisive war of the Apocalypse. Roman's current state in life seems doomed; he must gather his emotions and fight on. The life he had once lived has resurfaced to haunt him, and the world of Extreme Days has become even more unsure and unpleasant. He must find his strength, for the Game means to send him and Samantha Black into a perilous land of devastation. Lucifer has released waves of malice across Europe. Through his Russian assassin Ivan, he means to rid any assistance Roman can find with the Saints of the Lord, the Guardians of the Game. He has also risen the one known as Thanatos the Death, the Grim Reaper of the ancient world, for a special task_removal of the disloyal Servant Knights of Iniquity from his Asylums. The Hunter Orion finds himself in an unfamiliar and demoralizing position, forcing him to become brutal to the ones around him. The Commander of Legions still has his primary task at hand--Hunt down the Player Lyon before his command is forever relinquished. The Essentials of the Game have been disregarded by Avalon; the French Roman denied by Kalevala; Renouncing the Rudiments has been declared! The rise of the Generals of Armageddon has commenced!

As a normally non-reader, I have read these books and loved then! It is fast pace, but not too fast. It keeps you interested and you can feel it. I had a hard time putting it down and look forward to the next books!
