Reviews - What do customers think about Lions And Cows Dining Together?

Lions and Cows Dining Together  Dec 2, 2006
Lions and Cows Dining Together: And 111 Other Sermon Ideas is a thought provoking book for all - ministers and lay people. Ministers obviously to use as the subtitle indicates for sermon ideas. Lay people can use for a personal daily meditation/devotional guide and also for those times when needing a lesson to present to a group. Each sermon idea starts with a catchy sermon title and a purpose statement then continues with 2-3 pages of ideas developing that statement. Scripture support is included. The Subject/Topic Index is very helpful. This book would be a great addition to any church library.

Relevant to many  Jul 23, 2006
This is a wonderful companion to Cain's first book "Shaking Wolves Out Of Cherry Trees: And 149 Other Sermon Ideas." A must have for pastors, new seminary grads, seminary students, and small group leaders. It is well organized with topics relevant to relating the Bible to today's living. Helpful Scripture references and outlines for each topic.

Lions and Cows give more good ideas  Jul 22, 2006
Like Terry Cain's other book on sermon ideas ("Shaking Wolves out of Cherry Trees"), this book is a great tool for finding starting points for religious discussion and bible study.

There are MANY topics to choose from. Even if you're religious viewpoint doesn't mesh with all the ideas, they can still stimulate useful, interesting discussion.

Lions & Cows Dining Together  Jul 19, 2006
This second book by Rev. Cain adds more sermon ideas to his first book, "Shaking Wolves out of Cherry Trees". I found it equally stimulating and recommend it highly.
