Reviews - What do customers think about Someplace Like Home?

great book for those who've suffered abuse  Apr 7, 2003
It is about a boy who is put in a foster home because he had suffered abuse both physically and sexually. You can feel the tension that is in his life forever.

I felt the book did not flow well. What happened to the uncle after he was put in jail? years pass without mention of him. The racism was akward. Showed up, and then ended.

needed some fine tuning, but it was filled with the emotions that help those who've never experienced this will be able to learn from.
