Curley has served as adjunct facutly member at Lesley College Graduate School in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Therapy in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He received his doctorate from Boston University and is a licensed mental health counselor. Also he has served as President of the Board of Trustees for the National Council Ministry to the Bereaved, Cleveland, Ohio. Father Curley is pastor of St. Susanna Parish, Dedham, Massachusetts. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States, conducted workshops, and facilitated support groups dealing with the grieving process.

They are made more aware of the nature of support groups and special liturgies. The book is geared for parishes who want to care for the bereaved with good liturgical spirituality and rituals.
