Kanna Volume 2 Review Dec 26, 2007
The story progresses from volume 1 with Kagura and Kanna traveling and fending for themselves. This volume introduces 2 new characters, one who was very close to Kanna and the other who possesses spiritual powers similar to Kagura's alternate being. My one gripe about this book is there are still no mention of how Kanna came over from the "other world" and what purpose she serves other the fact that she is being targeted. Kanna's relationship with Kagura increases due to the fact that Kagura has learned a new technique which allows him to communicate telepathically. The book still has humorous moments especially with Kagura meeting with new girls and Kanna not being happy about it. Also, Kanna develops a fetish for cosplaying due to a certain "lolicon" who agreed to help Kagura if Kanna would wear the clothes he prepared. This series get be serious at times and hence the reason for the 16+ rating. If you enjoy reading supernatural, slice of life and comedy this should warrant a purchase, but please begin from volume 1 as you will need it to understand the overall story and characters.
