Reviews - What do customers think about Prayers And Promises For My Little Girl?
wonderful May 29, 2009
i love this book. it has become part of our bedtime routine. it contains pretty illustrations and reminds me to pray for specific things for my daughter that i might not think of otherwise, such as "her heart of forgiveness".
Breathtaking artwork! Apr 29, 2009
Breathtaking artwork! I found this book at my local Bible book store, and as I glanced through it I fell in love with the beautiful, lifelike paintings on every page. Little girls in pinafores, lace and gingham, with sweet faces and soft hair. Each painting is suitable for framing, I wish they were larger. The Bible verses and prayers are wonderful for Moms. It's not really a book to read to a small child, it's prayers for mothers to pray over their daughters.
Fabulous Feb 23, 2009
This book is full of wonderful, destiny fulfilling and character building prayers for your daughter.
"Perfect for Every Parent" Nov 8, 2008
Prayers and Promises for My Little Girl is a precious book of prayer. What better gift can we give our children than to swaddle them in prayer?
Readers may be surprised when they sit down to read this book. It is more for parents than children. While it has the appearance of a child's book it is filled with prayers, interspersed with promises and blessings from Scripture for little girls. What a wonderful idea. My children are long grown but I read these prayers and blessings over my grandchildren. When they hear them they
somewhat disapointed... Sep 7, 2008
I was somewhat disapointed to find that a lot of the prayers in this book are the same ones in Stormie's book "The Power of a Praying Parent," which I own too. The only difference is that this book features beautiful pictures on each page, and only has prayers, whereas "the power of a Praying Parent" has small stories and thoughts from Stormie herself and is therefore longer. I probably wouldn't have bought it had I been able to search inside this one and see what it was like first. This would be a great gift for a new mother or for a parent who does not own "the power of a praying parent."
