Reviews - What do customers think about The Story File: 1,001 Contemporary Illustrations for Speakers, Writers and Preachers?
OK - But more like a book of anecdotes. Oct 9, 2001
Good anecdotes, quotes, and humor. Useful for next to your joke book collection and quote book collection. I didn't really find any good "stories" in the book though. The best stories come from your own experience - and these anecdotes can help spark your memory.
Not exactly what I expected, but a pretty good reference book. It goes by category, and the anecdotes are all from a sentence to about a paragraph or two in length.
