Reviews - What do customers think about For the Sake of Honor?
Nepotism abounds in his reviews! May 11, 2006
Amazing! The reviews not this book), are amazing. Why? Because Mr. Stephen Stallard seems to have enlisted the help of friends and relatives to give this item 5-star reviews.
This book is interesting but certainly not page-riveting. Not something I'd read more than once or give a place of honor on my bookshelf at home.
Writing is juvenile, taking liberties with history. I am a history major with a minor in American Literature. NOTICE, THIS IS ONE REVIEW BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN MR. STALLARD'S FAMILY!!!!!
Great Story Line Oct 4, 2004
This book gave me a desire to keep reading chapter after chapter. The story line and character lesson is fabulous for young people and families. The ending left me crying and shouting all at the same time. It is a great read, not too long, and filled with great illustrations that will leave a civil war enthusiast satisfied.
Baked to perfection! Sep 26, 2004
Has all the ingredients for a great novel: unexpected twists, tear-jerking moments, unquenchable faith, and enough action to keep you on the edge of your seat!
