Eddy pressed the positive sign on the remote control to increase the volume of the television as a special report came across CNN News.
The constant reports on the activities of fraudsters are becoming alarming. Finding a way to combat this crime seems bleak. It is taking a toll on business owners all across the globe. In recent months, a Brazilian bank lost $109,000,000 to fraudsters. A woman committed suicide after being defrauded out of $12,700,000. A Czech citizen shot a man at the Nigeria embassy after being duped. Arab loses money daily to these crooks. Swindlers ruin American businessmen on a regular basis. Efforts to combat this notorious activity seem ineffective since some government officials, business organizations, and banks are aiding the criminals.
Meanwhile, the American Government has called a meeting of the security leaders in every country to address the issue. They hope to find a solution to this social calamity that has been classified as the worst crime of the 21st century.
The camera zoomed in on a German bank manager weeping like a child after losing $2,000,000 to a fraudster.
How were you scammed? the reporter asked the manager.
I pumped all my money into a proposed contract deal. The profits looked real, he said, wiping his eyes. Please help me find the culprits. The contract was supposed to be signed at the Gulf of Guineas. This morning I discovered there was no such contract.

Reviews - What do customers think about The Scam Traders?
IF YOU'RE TIRED OF "SCAMS" THIS BOOK IS A "MUST" READ! Nov 14, 2005
Who among us is not tired of all the scam artists in the world--those crooks who come up with all kinds of shrewd ideas to separate us from our hard-earned money?
In this age of electronic communication, people are especially susceptible to this type of invasion. These scam artists are masters of their games and will try to "get at us" via telephone, TV, and the Internet (WorldWideWeb). The elderly and young are especially vulnerable (and gullible), as we all know, but even the smartest among us have been tricked (conned) at one time or another.
The author of this book is to be commended for exposing the techniques these scammers use--in an effort to teach the public how to protect themselves.
