In 2003, after losing his wife and ministry partner to cancer, Bradley learned firsthand about grief and learning to press on and keep living for God. Publishers Description This generation increasingly struggles to maintain a sense of hope and expectation in the face of overwhelming personal loss and the constant awareness of global suffering. Drawing from and sharing his personal family struggles, author Brad Stanley addresses those two realities and seeks to reveal a God who is affected by that suffering and who is committed to redeeming those overwhelming losses. The book seeks to empower readers by helping them learn how to walk in the call of God even when weakness leaves them devastated; what it means to have true thankfulness and contentment when they are living with the constant awareness of loss; and how to embrace God's redemption for a hurting world.
