Frazzled from his rocky marriage and mounting debt, Keith Waterman hops a plane and heads to Mac?s Place, a neighborhood coffee shop in Seattle:
Laughter greeted Keith. The sweet smell of coffee wafted over him, and he absorbed the ambiance of worn, wooden floors and the antique service bar. ?It?s good to see you!? Joe exclaimed. Keith couldn?t stop his grin. ?I flew in for some real coffee.? He settled onto his favorite bar stool. The fit was as good now as it had been three years ago. He relaxed and closed his eyes, savoring the moment.
Among old friends Keith opens his heart and discovers in their generosity and acceptance powerful truths about God?s love and provision.

Meets the goals Jun 18, 2007
Toler and Smith successfully met their goals of keeping the interest of the reader through a good solid storyline and making a "modern-day parable" just that...contemporay by sharing great biblical thoughts for today. I enjoyed following the main character of Keith Richardson through a series of life events that helps him learn the truth of "real success" in spiritual living, married life and giving back to God and the world. Toler/Smith has gathered an interesting cast of supporting characters throughout the book. Good quick reading with a purpose!
Pretentious May 6, 2007
I am really disappointed by this book. The first time I read it I cannot get anything out of it. Read the second time, I began to get the gist of the book. Good for Christians who look for ways to make quick books from Christian point of view. Jusuf Hariman
