Item description for U Got 2 Pray: 100 Prayers for Daily Living in Modern Culture by Stan Fortuna...
Overview Original, relevant, teen-friendly prayers deliver the positive influence to rise above the mainstream and develop a rock-solid spirit. Filled with relevant Scripture passages, real-life examples, and the one-of-a-kind energy of Fr. Stan, this book includes everything teens need to live a life with Christ.
Publishers Description Heightened social awareness is accompanied by increased pressure to conform, to comply, to be politically correct in the eyes of the dominant culture. And to be a Christian teen, in the first century or the twenty-first, is to be counter-cultural. The prayers in this book are for them. To help them put their feelings into words and give shape to their ideas. To be with them as they move from praying the way a little kid does to talking -- and listening -- to God as a young adult. Here is not only how to pray better but why to pray at all. Here are the traditional prayers, the quotes, the scripture passages that have comforted and challenged teens for a long, long time. Here are original prayers that deal with the everyday situations they face right now.

Father Stan is FANTASTIC!! Feb 20, 2006
Fr. Stan Fortuna is wonderful! My son has his book, "U Got 2 Pray", which has a prayer and scriptural quote for almost any situation in life. He and I read it all the time, it is a wonderful reference.
We also enjoy his guest appearances on EWTN's "Life On The Rock". His love for JP2 (John Paul II) is very moving and inspiring.
We love you Fr. Stan! Remember JP2 says, "Be Not Afraid."
