Reviews - What do customers think about 40 Techniques For Card Making?
Great Ideas Jan 18, 2007
This book has well written instructions for a lot of great techniques. The only complaint I have is the binding. The stand-up format might be marginally helpful while completing a project, but it makes for very awkward reading.
Aaarrgghh!!!!! Aug 22, 2006
The 1-star rating I'm giving is due to the book's horrendous format. The outside is heavyweight and the pages flip up and over - I'm guessing so that you can stand it upright; however, it doesn't stand for me. Nor do I want it to...I want to casually browse through the book on my sofa or wherever. I'm unable to even give a rating for the projects because I haven't yet been able to endure the torture of actually looking at them.
Format from hell Jul 9, 2006
The good news: the projects are okay. I imagine the content would be better for someone new to paper crafts. It covers stamping, embossing, aging, etc. For that I gave it 2 stars.
The bad news: the format makes browsing and reading the book cumbersome at best. It's spiral bound with pages that flip up and over the top. The cover creates a stand so the book (supposedly) stands upright. It didn't for me. Constantly turning the bulky book over to read the next page made me want to throw it across the room.
