Item description for Wait for Me: Rediscovering the Joy of Purity in Romance by Rebecca St James & Dale Reeves...
Overview In her groundbreaking book, St. James challenged young women to hold fast to their purity and to their hope of a husband worthy of that gift. This journal is a place to collect prayers, thoughts, hopes, and dreams for that union.
A call to young people to remain sexually pure until marriage.
Everyone longs to be loved deeply by someone, and Rebecca St. James is no different, as demonstrated by her hit song "Wait for Me." In this revised and updated version of the 2002 release, Rebecca shares the same desires as other young people as her resolve to remain sexually pure until marriage is not common in our society.
Using Scripture, pop culture, and her own experience as a point of reference, Rebecca paints a relevant and appealing picture of the value of waiting. But Rebecca also reaches out with compassion to those who have already made mistakes and reveals the mercy and healing that God brings.
The new editon of this bestseller includes: a fresh design (inside and out) with eye-catching graphics; a new introduction from Rebecca; journaling sections throughout the book; and a study guide for personal or group use.

Wait for Me: Rediscovering the Joy of Purity in Romance Apr 19, 2010
This is a great book so far! I really enjoy learning different things on purity! I recommend it!
Pirchased for Daughter - I think every Dad should Jan 19, 2010
I purchased this book along with the supporting books. In today's world I feel that a Father needs to let their Daughters know that they care about them. My Daughter was very receptive to the book and supporting documentation. Afterall, the alternative was a short conversation on the porch with her date.
A REAL RESOURCE TOOL FOR TEENS & PARENTS! Jun 27, 2008
"Wait For Me" should be mandatory reading for teens and the parents of teens who are hoping to gain the advantage of moral prospective in an increasing sexually focused culture. With clear direction and frank talk, Rebecca St. James has earned the stripes to write this book. Through her own life experiences of role modeling faith and values through her music and personal life and her strong stand nationally as an abstinence advocate, hers is a voice worth listening to. "Wait For Me" explores honestly the real "rubber meets the road" issues teens face in every day life and in clear language answers "the hard questions" on sexual purity and how to live it out in every day culture. She faces head-on the hard to talk about issues. From dating to STDs, unplanned pregnancy, and the emotional scars of promiscuity to the brighter promise of waiting for the true intimacy of marriage--"Wait For Me" should be in the hands of every teen, youth group study, and parent who hopes to help direct their teens towards the right path in life.
