An outstanding book on finding the heart of God Dec 31, 1998
Bob Sorge's journey for the past 6 1/2 years is one of heartache, trial, the temptation to quit, and ultimately the story of a servant of God who finds his primary purpose in the face of the Creator. This book chronicles the period of time that the author calls a "season", meaning that coupled with the faith that God heals and makes whole is a deeper need built within us to find our Savior as a compassionate and powerful God who is not intimidated by our sometimes difficult jouney through life as a Christian. Chapter 5's emphatic statements on our need to find a hunger for God, rather than always being a servant of the flesh, has had a major impact on my life, ministry and the lives of those around me who have taken the "dare" to consume this book and then be consumed with an honest pursuit in the Face of God.

One of the best books I can give to someone who is asking God, Why
He will open the eyes of our hearts to His understanding. Sep 17, 1998
This is one of the most poignant messages of the day, especially to the leaders of our corporate worship teams. This is a must read by all, especially to those who have a desire for closer communion with the Father. Pastor Sorge has walked the path of a musician/singer and has truly found the secret of tearing down the strongholds that would prohibit the anointing in our lives, especially in our music! "Hinds Feet in High Places" has met its match.
This book has so ministered to my soul, reminding me how to keep my eyes turned to the face of God; for there-in lies the true beauty and understanding of how to survive in the midst of the today that we live in. The scripture says that "He will open they eyes of our hearts to His understanding." What this Pastor has lived through has given him even a greater understanding of that walk. I highly recommend this book and his other works.
