Item description for Dealing with the Rejection and Praise of Man by Bob Sorge...
Overview Rejection. Ugh! Many of us have been devoured by its ravages, and most of us have also given it out.
Praise. Now there's a happier word! But the sinister tentacles of man's praise constantly seek to disqualify God's servants from their highest inheritance.
Rejection and Praise are like twin gullies that flank the narrow highway of holiness. Every step counts. For Jesus, man's opinions were meaningless in light of the exuberant affection and passionate approval of His Father.
Learn how to hold your heart before God in a way that pleases Him in the midst of both rejection and praise from people.
Publishers Description Rejection from other people can distress, wound, and imprison the soul. Equally harmful, the praise of man is also a snare, capable of disqualifying God's servants from their highest inheritance. Bob Sorge reveals in this brief book how the truths that set us free from both extremes are amazingly similar.
This book answers some crucial questions which grip virtually every believer: What do I do when others demean or hurt me? And how should I respond when others honor or compliment me?
Rejection and praise are like twin gullies that flank the narrow highway of holiness. Every step counts. For Jesus, man's opinions were meaningless in light of the exuberant affection and passionate approval of His Father.
Let God's truth set you free from the power of rejection's woundings and from the entrapment of man's praises. Learn how to hold your heart before God in a way that pleases Him in the midst of both rejection and praise from people.

Reviews - What do customers think about Dealing With The Rejection & Praise Of Man?
Excellent book Apr 6, 2005
This book is very informative and "in your face." It will help you grow into the place God has for you and learn to get past the praise and or rejection of man.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom... Feb 21, 2004
This book ushered me into a whole new way of "rejecting" the praise of man and looking only to my Father for affirmation, which is absolutely necessary for ANY believer to learn. His insights on this subject is incredible and this book changed my life.
It is only 80 some pages, but it is packed with serious truth and wisdom! You can't afford NOT to buy this book! :-)
Dealing with the Rejection and Praise of Man Jun 3, 2000
This book is a must for kingdom growth! The approval of others can be detrimental to our spiritual health if its allowed to affect our self-worth. "Dealing with the Rejection and Praise of Man" clearly and biblically states the case for trusting solely in our acceptance by God and not man. When viewed as a tool in the hand of God, not the enemy, rejection is something purposed for our good and not our harm. Bob Sorge is anointed for this hour to build up the Body of Christ and I have purchased several copies of each of his titles for others. I highly recommend them.
