Item description for Crossroads: The Teenage Girl's Guide to Emotional Wounds (Invert) by Stephanie Smith & Suzy Weibel...
Overview First Words chronicles the story behind the song of the same title by Gotee recording artist Stephanie Smith?though it is one of her early songs. Simple in form, it has created a stir of God?s healing father-heart each time the tale is told. When we surrender our bitter, wounded heart to God, choosing to trust his promises to love us, bless us, and protect us, we find ourselves available to do all of those good things the Bible says he has prepared in advance for us to do.
Publishers Description If you ve ever felt lonely, abandoned, lost, or unloved, you re not alone. Although she s a successful Gotee recording artist today, Stephanie Smith has had her fair share of hurt and heartbreak. Her journey has been a long one, filled with the pain of being fatherless, struggling with her identity, and looking for love in the wrong places. And while she s not yet done with her journey, and still far from perfect, she has found hope, and through her story, you may find hope of your own. The truth Stephanie has come to realize is that, In all of our trials, tribulations, heartaches, and brokenness, God is there. We have a choice: We can walk with God, or we can walk away from him. Walk with Stephanie as she shares her journey and her heart. You may find that in the midst of your own pain and troubles, you can find the hope and help that Jesus has to offer---and you, too, can be a rock star "

Reviews - What do customers think about Crossroads?
Wonderful book - and not just for teens Oct 15, 2008
Stephanie Smith has written a wonderful book from the heart of her experiences with rejection, love, and a deep faith in God. Picked this up (literally) on a coffee table and found I just couldn't put it down! Don't let the title scare you away, this is a book for everyone, told by a wonderful woman who made it through some rough teenage years and has a great story of hope to share.
Love It, Love it, Love it! May 28, 2008
I picked up Crossroads and could not put it down! It's fabulous! Well-written, interesting, and the perfect length. I love how it is sectioned- it makes it much easier to read. It really took me on a Journey through my own heart. Really, Crossroads was one of the most inspirational, light-giving books that I've read in a while!
