Reviews - What do customers think about Day I Died?
More practical than you'd ever guess. Mar 18, 2007
Simply and directly written, Steve's experience is one that every busy or driven person should read. Steve does not dwell on how he died so much as how we should live, more fully and personally, slower and deeper.
Thought Provoking Jan 11, 2007
This is an inside look into eternity, first hand. It helped me understand many facets of my own spiritual journey and experiences.
new perspective on how to cope with birthdays Nov 17, 2006
Steve Sjogren's account of life after his near-death experience is more than just compellingly written story. It gave him perspective on how to live the rest of his life. As a Christian he had peace, knowing that when he dies he'll be with God forever. But he didn't know how to grow old -- how to love well, and make his days on earth count the most. THE DAY I DIED likewise gave me fresh ideas for how to cope with my own birthdays, by making the best of each year I have. It's hard to put the book down, and it's well worth reading.
The Day I Died Jul 3, 2006
This book is a awsome book it has so much to give. My very favorite three sentences are "If you have a childlike relationship with god,you have nothing to fear in death. Death is not the big, scary, overwhelming enemy that our culture has mad it out to be. Until we get past our fear of death, we will be prevented from taking risks in life.". The man who wrote this book went though extream trils of life , one of witch he encounters being out of his body and God speaking to him. I encourge you to read this book it has a effect on you that i can not discribe.
Life changing Jun 6, 2006
Being in the medical field, I found this book completely captivating. Steve was so honest and bared his feelings in a way that caused me to reflect on where my life has taken me, and how I want to change the direction I am going.
A must read for everyone. It will inspire you to change, challenge you to grow, and acknowlege how quickly life can be altered. I will never be the same.
