Item description for Cold Case Murder (Without a Trace, Book 3) by Shirlee McCoy...
Overview Her hometown of Loomis, Louisiana, holds no charm for Jodie Gilmore. Why be reminded of her mother's abandonment? Then the novice FBI agent is assigned to a missing person's case, and refusal isn't an option. Her coworkers are counting on her. Surely the tight-lipped locals will talk to one of their own. Page-turner !!! Sep 30, 2009
I loved this book! Excellent suspense! If you like tales of mystery and romance don't miss this one! The whole series is great!
interesting, but not all mysteries solved Jun 16, 2009
I picked up this book after my wife read it, and for the most part, was very satisfied with a mystery that wasn't peppered with profanity and unsavory characters. But what this book lacked was an explanation at the end for all the unusual activities that occcured. Perhaps since this is part of a series (albeit from other authors) some mysteries are explained in later books? Anyway, my only other comment is the romantic nature of the book was a bit awkward, with our heroine jumping in a bit fast with her heart in my opinion. So maybe it wasn't totally realistic. But I enjoyed the trip to Louisiana.

I absolutly love this "mini series". After each book i find myself checking daily to see if the next book has been released.
