More About Sean Hyland
Sean Hyland has raced, wrenched, and developed Mustangs for more than half of his 30 years in motorsport. Having cut his teeth in autocross and pro rally competition in the early 1980s, he moved on to be a successful driver and team owner in the Firehawk Endurance road race series in the 1990s. As Sean became immersed in developing the 4.6L engine in the mid 1990s, time commitments forced his own motorsport adventures to take a back seat to his business, Sean Hyland Motorsport. Sean is still at the forefront of 4.6L Modular V-8 development today, and he's justifiably proud of his achievements, most notably the 4.6L and 5.4L engine block that he designed for high-performance applications. Today, Sean is involved with making Mustangs go faster every day, and he's also the resident racing expert on Speed Channel's Sports Car Revolution. Sean lives with his wife and two girls in Ontario.

Great place to get started with my mustang. Feb 28, 2008
To start with, this is my first mustang. I've had it now for 1 1/2 years, and having so much fun with it, I now needed more. I got lost on the forums, and tired of getting bashed for asking questions. Spent hours getting no where. Within the first few hours of reading this book, I now know where I'm headed and what I need to do to make my GT into a street and track car, and now the things I read online make sence. Great resource in my opinion. I highly recommend this book.
If you can spell Mustang do not buy this book May 25, 2007
This book is good for someone who knows little to nothing about mustangs. For anyone who actually wants to modify one, do not waste your time. This book is very generic. SH rambles on touching lightly on various subjects but not going into sufficient detail on anything. I expected a list of the different years and models with all the stock specs at the least, but it is not here. Whereas his book on building Modular Motors was a wealth of information, this one is very disappointing.
