Reviews - What do customers think about Same-Sex Marriage?
Excellent book on the topic of same sex marriage Nov 3, 2004
This book hits well on a controversial topic. A worthwhile read.
Very limited in scope Jul 17, 2004
I gave the book a rating of one star, only because "no stars" is not an option.
The author, whose name doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere in the book has done an excellent job showing that if one believes that the Bible is inerrant and inspired by God, and if one interprets the Bible literally, then a case can be made that Fundamentalist and other Evangelical churches should not marry their committed, same-sex couples.
However, unless the reader of the book is working to change the U.S. to a conservative Christian theocracy, the book is useless to anyone who believes in elementary human rights, and is trying to decide whether all loving committed couples should be able to marry in the country.
