Item description for Learning New Habits (Pathways to Christ) (pack of 21) by Safiyah Fosua...
Overview Learning New Habits focuses on the means of grace and how these inform our entire life, lifestyle, decision-making, and relationships. In this "spiritual, not religious" world, evangelism efforts by mainline denominations are either non-existent or over-the-top intimidating. Neither hits the mark. Church members and leaders often struggle to explain to unchurched friends and acquaintances the importance of being a disciple of Jesus and growing in faith among a community of believers. That's where this series of tracts can help. Powerful and priced right to leave with the seekers you meet, each attractively designed, brief tract builds on the others with the goal of inviting seekers to know and follow Jesus Christ in clear, non-churchy language.
Publishers Description Churches are struggling with finding a way to explain the importance of becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ and growing in Christian faith in a way that is not intimidating to the seeker. The

Reviews - What do customers think about Learning New Habits (Pathways to Christ) (pack of 21)?
Basics for Christian spiritual practice Jul 22, 2006
Fosua helps new Christians learn some basic practices of faith--prayer, Bible reading, and such--in this 16-page tract, which is available in packets of 25 for ten bucks. She writes in basic language and avoids the usual jargon surrounding these daily disciplines of faith. Nice for use with new Christians and with those people who want to be "spiritual without being religious."
