Reviews - What do customers think about Stress Echocardiography Interactive: Strategies for interpretation plus CD-ROM?
outdated Feb 23, 2008
I did not get past the fact that the CD which came with the book could only be read by windows 95/NT when these have been outdated for years. I sent it back
Not bad but.... Jan 17, 2008
This book consists basically in 24 case series of stress echocardiography, if you are looking for basics principles or theory this is not the book for you. The case series are well documented and the author writes recommendations and tips that are useful. the book is not big actually is very like an issue of the "cardiology clinics", the 156 pages are very well illustrated so you can read it and see the images in the CD all in 1 day. The problem with the CD is that only works in windows 95, 98 or NT and nobody actually has any of thouse i tried in windos XP and could not make it work, it did work in windows 2000 but had to lower the resolution of the monitor and put the color seting of the screen in 256 colors. The images are very clear despite the setings of the screen.
So if you are familiar with this tipe of study and want to see some cases and aditionally you have a old windows version maybe you should consider this book if you don`t then don`t waste your money
Disappointed May 7, 2007
We are in the 3rd millenium and they didn't up-date the CD-ROM so it can be used with the new PCs.
