Item description for Victory in the Valleys by Ruthann Bosley...
Overview Ruthann Bosley and her husband had faced many valleys during their (almost) 30-year marriage. But would the Lord get them through the valley of cancer and the valley of death? They had claimed many victories together, but would they claim this victory? If you are experiencing difficulties or wish to understand someone else's valleys and pain, Victory in the Valleys will help you see and understand God's faithfulness. Share the excitement of God's provision as Ruthann takes the reader from medical crises to the basketball court at Ohio State University with a son on a full ride basketball scholarship, back to the shock of aggressive cancer and on to the pain of dealing with grief and a new stage of life. God's faithfulness in ALL situations is shared through ongoing medical problems, parenting issues, basketball woes, financial problems, and the pain of losing a spouse and facing a new (unwanted) stage of life.

This is an awesome book. It is so interesting, it is hard to put it down once you start reading. It is written in segments so that you can read some, put it down and easily pick it up again. It is a book that will make you laugh and it will make you cry. It's the true story of a family, their good times and their valleys. The ultimate point of the book is the fact that in all we do in life, our victories and our valleys, it is God we need to depend on to get us through. We need to put our total trust in God, to thank him for the good things he gives us and trust him to get us through the tough times that we all have in life. Without God, we have no hope of eternity in heaven. This book explains in detail how we can have that hope and know for sure where we will spend eternity the minute we close our eyes in death.
