Publishers Description Spend 31 days in God's loving arms and you'll discover the secret to contentment in life. Deep within, many of us sense a longing for fulfillment - a hunger that cries out to be satisfied. Wonderfully, God in His infinite love can satisfy this passionately felt need. Better still, He will - as we let Him. For when we seek to pursue Him first of all, writes author Ruth Myers, our satisfaction with life, ourselves, and our Creator truly is guaranteed. Drawing upon her own deeply personal experience with a God who desires to be intimately acquainted with every area of His children's lives, Ruth Myers paints a dramatic picture of a loving Father who gives us all we need to be satisfied - no matter how severe our struggles, failings, and disappointments. Myers explains, "The heart that has tasted of God's love will always turn back to Him with longing and say, 'Only Your love can meet my deepest needs.'" In The Satisfied Heart, readers will learn how to enter into a deeper, more complete, and thoroughly fulfilling contentment with God - as well as a true delight in all that life brings.

Reviews - What do customers think about The Satisfied Heart: 31 Days of Experiencing God's Love?
The Satisfied Heart May 14, 2007
We heard about this wonderful little book from a member of our church's staff. My wife and I are leading volunteer team overseas this summer to work with children in a impoverished area in South Africa and to work with a group of children of missionary families. We chose to use this book as a month long daily devotional to prepare the team for the service that lies ahead of us. We meet almost weekly to plan the work we intend to do while away and we take time to discuss this book also. It is a wonderful book about God's love for his most prized creation...US
Spectacular! Dec 15, 2001
The most life-changing book I have read so far! I'm buying all the used copies I can get my hands on to give to friends and family. The BEST way to read it is SLOWLY--- one chapter/week minimum, to let the revolutionary concepts sink in. Even better, go through it with a friend and share the phrases that strike you most. Thank you, Ruth, for opening my eyes to God's amazing, satisfying love!
I just never knew. Nov 26, 2001
Did you ever think that God could satisfy ALL your needs?? No matter how insignificant it is or that God simply didn't want anything to do with it? I believe many Christians fail to see God's love and focus instead on earning it. What a difference it would make if people just realized our value to Him. He can choose to dwell anywhere in this universe, and yet He chose to live in us. God is wonderful. God is not human.
A Truly great book for chrisitians in search of help Apr 13, 2000
This book has done two things. It has gave me a deeper insight into who christ is and what he has done. And secondly it has opened my eyes so I can see once again that I am someone worth Christs love. Every single devotional hits home in one way or another. It is a a book wrote from a very personal standpoint that takes you through a personal walk with christ.
