Reviews - What do customers think about One Girl Babylon (New Issues Poetry & Prose)?
The Woman with a Thousand Faces Jan 12, 2004
The poems of One Girl Babylon explore the varying roles a woman takes at different times of her life. We see woman as daughter, as mother, as victim and as vixen. Kocher's strong poetic voice ties each poem to the next as they cycle through such different subject matter as the power of sexy shoes, a young girl's kidnapping, and the damnation and salvation of complicated women. One Girl Babylon is Kocher's third book and she just keeps getting better.
