Reviews - What do customers think about The Boy Who Did Not Like Television?

To Watch or Not to Watch  Sep 29, 2005
Although I liked the premise and storyline of this book, I did not like then was lacking. Although the little boy in this book prefered to spend time sitting side by side with his mommy & daddy and cuddling with happily ever after. I believe the ending could have been improved if other activites (such as reading) were a purveyor of literacy, it would have been nice if the author had the little boy and his parents reading together.

If this book is serious about not promoting television as an activity for children, since this is a book (and the idea is to encourage children to want to read it), it would have behooved the author to include the obsious alternative to television.

The illustrations are simple and childlike, the font is clear but might be more easily readable if it had been in bold.
