Item description for I'm Still Dancing: Praying Through the Good Days and Bad by Rose Tillemans...
Overview These passionate, whimsical, upbeat, and touching prayers express faith in the God of quiet gifts and of refreshment, of laughter and of justice, of refuge and of joy. What comes through is a free spirit yearning to be with God. Sister Rose is young at heart, very much in love with God, and she takes great joy in all that God created from a tiny African violet to the great blue sky above her. She is also an activist with deep convictions about peace and justice. She has a great affinity for the poor and homeless and eventually despite much opposition founded Peace House where the poor could gather to be with others seeking spirituality, affirmation , and friendship. All these convictions, struggles, and dreams shine through each of her prayers. Through these prayers may you be inspired to join the dance. No matter what obstacles, setbacks, and down days you are facing, God, the great leader of the dance, is with you inviting you to join the sacred dance of life, today and for the rest of your life.

An amazing, spirited woman... Dec 23, 2002
I was so fortunate to have the chance to know Sister Rose...she was truly an inspiring woman, and a radical at that! She worked constantly for justice from the Phillips/Whittier neighborhoods to the world.
This book, which contains simple prayers, may seem very simplistic to some. Rose uses plain and simple language, but the truth of her words is clear. Her love and trust in God inspires others who knew her and those who didn't know her to feel connected to the Spirit and continue to strive for peace.
