Item description for When Hope is Lost by Ron Lewis...
." . . all hope . . . was then taken away" (Acts 27:20). Even Christians can lose hope. We may smile and pretend it isn't so, but the best of believers can descend into despair. Elijah did. David did. Paul did. People familiar with God's power can come to doubt God's provision. You may be at that place today. If so, you don't have to remain mired in misery. God will lift you to a life of joy. You can help him do it. This book shows you how. "When Hope Is Lost" identifies dangers to dodge and principles to pursue. Its twelve chapters stand on one encouraging truth: The God who created everything from nothing can deposit hope into your heart again. Ron Lewis P.O. Box 182 Parkersburg, W.Va. 26102

Hope Misplaced, Not Lost! Jul 17, 2007
Ron Lewis has taken some wonderful biblical truths and in a simple, strait forward way shows us how to apply those truths to our everyday life. Mr. Lewis shows us that anyone can become a victim of despair. By using some unlikely examples, he allows us to take a look at some of the more lesser known aspects of the lives of such men of God as Paul, Elijah, and David. Using the basis of their faith as a map, Mr. Lewis shows us how we too can revel in the joy that is the Lord's. A wonderful book full of uplifting and affirming scripture, "When Hope is Lost" is a must for all christians.
