Item description for Living the Abundant Life by Roger Weldon...
A Life Endured. Is Not a Life As Christ-Followers we are called to do more than endure life. Created in God's image we are overcomers and more than conquerors with specific tasking from the King of kings. Yet cynicism, negativity, and the frantic pace of life send us the message that we should disengage in order to make it through. Power, riches, and pleasures call out to others and lure them down paths they were never meant to travel. Boredom and broken dreams distract others but from time to time we all see with amazing clarity: The way we are living just isn't the way things were supposed to turn out. There was supposed to be more victory, more joy, more significance; this cannot be all there is to our journey. Our vision is more than simple insight; it is a seed planted in John 10: 10 when Jesus said He came to provide more than the wonderful gift of salvation: "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

Reviews - What do customers think about Living the Abundant Life?
A Wholehearted Recommendation Jun 20, 2004
In my youth I dreamt of a captivating life filled with passion and purpose. While growing older, though, my dream was blurred by the mundane trappings of daily routine. Enter Roger Weldon's phenomenal book. I was most struck by the authority and consistency of his message. I find it rare when the unqualified passion of an author can be so genuinely felt by the reader. Further, the material is not delivered in a "preachy" manner but more like a conversation with a wise grandparent passing on a lifetime of knowledge and experience. In a world wrought with uncertainty and terrorism, Mr. Weldon maintains unparalleled optimism for each of us and definitively lays out a plan for a life of abundance. Thanks to this author's insight, my life has regained focus and once again my youthful dreams are clear. I know what I will do with the time I have left. What about you?
